High Five: Crafting an Award-Nominated Interior with Norfolk Interiors

Norfolk Interiors is proud to have contributed to High Five, a 29-metre performance cruising sloop recently delivered by Fibre Mechanics and nominated for Best Interior at the 2026 BOAT Design & Innovation Awards.

Working as part of an exceptional design team, Norfolk Interiors were responsible for the yacht’s interior joinery along with a selection of bespoke FF&E pieces. It was a privilege to collaborate with Winch Design, who led the interior vision, Bill Tripp / Tripp Design on naval architecture, and Fibre Mechanics on a build that has set a new benchmark within her class.

Designed as a yacht that would feel “above all, like home,” High Five reflects a deeply personal vision from her owner, a passionate design enthusiast with a lifelong connection to the sea. Winch Design’s interior embraces a refined yet relaxed contemporary nautical aesthetic, combining limed oak, exposed timber, teak flooring and a soft, tactile palette of leathers in cream, tan, dark brown and navy. Matte and sateen finishes are favoured throughout, creating warmth and authenticity while celebrating craftsmanship and natural materials.

Following her delivery, High Five has gained industry recognition with her nomination at the 2026 BOAT Design & Innovation Awards for both her interior and exterior. The project is a wonderful example of how close collaboration and craftmanship can transform a client’s dream into reality.
