  • Project Manager - Luxury Joinery & Interiors

    Location: Fakenham, Norfolk
    Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

    Norfolk Interior is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of bespoke joinery, fine furniture, and luxury interior projects for super yachts and high-end residential developments.

    Managing projects valued between £500K and £3.5M, you will be responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling, client liaison, risk management, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • A minimum of 5 years' Project Management experience within luxury residential, yacht, marine, fit-out, or joinery environments.

    • Strong joinery, carpentry, or bespoke furniture manufacturing knowledge.

    • Experience managing budgets, programmes, and cross-functional teams.

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Inventor.

    • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

    • A full UK driving licence.

  • Luxury Furniture Finisher (Skilled)

    Location: Fakenham, Norfolk

    Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

    We are looking for a semi-skilled Furniture Finisher to join our friendly and expanding team in north Norfolk, catering for the high-end private residential and superyacht markets.

    Experience and Qualifications

    The successful candidate must have at least 5 years prior experience in modern and traditional finishing/polishing techniques.

    • Have a keen eye for detail

    • Be able to work under their own initiative as well as part of a team

    • Be able to prioritise workloads

    • Good organisational skills

    • Attention to detail

    • Enthusiastic, committed, and able to respond positively to changing demands

    • Keen to learn new skills and techniques

    • Confident in colour matching stains and tinting up lacquer to match required samples

    • Be able to use a spray gun for top coating including gloss work

    • Polishing gloss work

    • Knowledge in spraying polyester based systems

    • Skilled in liquid metal application and polishing and patination a bonus

    • Skilled in brass patination a bonus

    Key responsibilities

    Typical duties to include spraying (paint and lacquer) - hand finishing (oiling, waxing and liming) – flatting/polishing gloss work and liquid metal - colour matching, staining and tinting to match client samples.

    The position is full-time (40-hour week), working on a 4-day shift pattern Monday to Thursday 07:00-17:30 based in our Norfolk workshops with the opportunity to progress within the organisation for the right candidate.

    Some sitework and travel associated may be required from time to time.

  • Estimator – Luxury Joinery & Interiors

    Location: Fakenham, Norfolk

    Norfolk Interior is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Sales & Estimating team, supporting the delivery of bespoke joinery, fine furniture, and luxury interior projects for super yachts and high-end residential developments.

    Working from our Fakenham facility, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for projects ranging from individual bespoke pieces to full turnkey interior fit-outs. You will liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure commercially competitive and technically accurate quotations.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Proven estimating experience within high-end joinery, bespoke furniture, fit-out, or interior manufacturing environments.

    • Strong knowledge of joinery construction methods, materials, and manufacturing processes.

    • The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and design sketches.

    • Experience obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations and preparing tender documentation.

    • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

    • A full UK driving licence.

  • Draughtsperson - High-end Bespoke Furniture & Interiors

    We are a design-led workshop specialising in exceptional bespoke furniture and yacht joinery for private clients, designers, and luxury developments. Every piece is made to order, combining rigorous engineering with craftsmanship at the highest level.

    We are seeking an experienced Draughtsperson to join our technical team and play a key role in delivering complex, high-quality bespoke projects from concept through to manufacture.

    The Role

    Working closely with senior designers, furniture makers, and project managers, you will:

    • Produce comprehensive technical drawings for bespoke furniture and joinery

    • Develop robust construction details, fixing strategies, and material specifications

    • Translate design intent into precise, manufacturable solutions

    • Lead technical problem-solving during development, prototyping, and manufacture

    • Act as a technical point of contact for workshop queries

    • Manage drawing revisions, issue status, and technical schedules

    • Contribute to improving technical standards, detailing quality, and workflows

    • Apply strong knowledge of luxury materials, finishes, and production realities

    About You

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a design engineering or technical design role

    • Degree (or equivalent experience) in product design, furniture design, engineering, or a related discipline

    • Strong technical judgement with a passion for furniture, materials, and craftsmanship

    • High proficiency in CAD software (Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar)

    • Solid understanding of timber construction, veneers, metals, finishes, and tolerances

    We are seeking a 2026 graduate to join our growing technical team as a full-time Draughtsperson. In this role, you will support the delivery of complex, high-quality projects from concept through to manufacture.

    The Role

    Working closely with senior design engineers, furniture makers, and project managers, you will:

  • Trainee Project Manager

    Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Project Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in project management within the luxury joinery industry. Working alongside experienced Project Managers, you will receive structured training and hands-on experience across all stages of our bespoke projects.

    The Role

    As a Trainee Project Manager, you will support the successful delivery of bespoke joinery projects from initial client brief through manufacture, installation, and final handover. You will learn every aspect of the project management process while working closely with experienced Project Managers, Design, Production, Procurement, and Installation teams.

    This role offers a structured development programme with clear opportunities for career progression into a Project Manager position.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and delivery of bespoke joinery projects.

    • Assist with preparing project documentation, programmes, meeting minutes, and progress reports.

    • Liaise with internal departments including Design, Production, Procurement, and Logistics to support project delivery.

    • Attend project meetings, factory inspections, and site visits to gain practical experience.

    • Monitor project progress and report any potential risks or delays.

    • Assist with coordinating site surveys, installations, and snagging activities.

    • Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

    • Support the procurement of specialist materials, fittings, and finishes.

    • Help maintain project cost records and budget updates.

    • Ensure projects are delivered to the company's quality standards and health and safety requirements.

    • Carry out general administrative duties to support the Project Management team.

    Skills & Experience

    Essential

    • A genuine interest in construction, manufacturing, or bespoke joinery.

    • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

    • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.

    • Strong attention to detail.

    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

    Desirable

    • Previous experience within construction, manufacturing, interiors, or a project support role.

    • An understanding of technical drawings or construction drawings.

    • Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software.

    • Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing software.

    • Full UK Driving Licence.

    Qualifications

    Desirable but not essential:

    • Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Interior Design, Furniture Design, Engineering, or a related discipline.

    • Health & Safety qualifications such as First Aid, SSSTS, or SMSTS.
