  • Luxury Furniture Finisher (Skilled) – Furniture industry

    Due to a full order book for 2025, we are pleased to advertise a new and exciting opportunity to join our Furniture Finishing Team.

    We are looking for a skilled Furniture Finisher to join our friendly and expanding team in Fakenham, manufacturing for the superyacht and luxury residential markets.

    Experience and qualifications:

    The successful candidate must:

    - Have at least 7 years prior experience in modern and traditional finishing/polishing techniques.

    - Have a keen eye for detail.

    - Be able to work under their own initiative as well as part of a team

    - Be able to prioritise workloads

    - Have good organisational skills

    - Have good attention to detail

    - Be enthusiastic, committed, and able to respond positively to changing demands

    - Be able to QC own work

    Key responsibilities:

    - Typical duties to include spraying (paint and lacquer), Hand finishing (oiling, waxing and liming), flatting/polishing gloss work and liquid metal, colour matching, staining and tinting to match client samples.

    - Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

    - The position is full-time (40-hour week), working on a 4-day shift pattern Monday to Thursday 07:00-17:30 based in our Norfolk workshops with the opportunity to progress within the organisation for the right candidate.

    - Some sitework and travel associated may be required from time to time.

  • Cabinet Maker

    We are a well-established company catering to the luxury private residential and superyacht markets, and we are looking for skilled Cabinet Makers to join our friendly, expanding team in North Norfolk.

    About the Role:
    As a Cabinet Maker, you will play a key role in crafting high-end bespoke pieces, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision in every project.

    Essential Skills & Experience:

    - Time-served cabinet maker with machining and veneering experience

    - Ability to read technical drawings

    - Keen eye for detail and meticulous craftsmanship

    - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

    - Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads

    - Enthusiastic, committed, and adaptable to changing demands

    - Good understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop environment

    Desirable Qualities

    - Strong communication skills

    - Experience working with luxury materials and in bespoke environments

    - Ability to stay motivated and maintain high standards of work under pressure

  • Project Manager

    Definition of Role:

    A Project Manager will oversee and manage bespoke joinery and carpentry projects from initiation through to completion. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with clients and contractors, and handle all aspects of the project lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including project scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and milestones.

    - Budget Management: Oversee and manage the project budget, ensuring costs are controlled and the project stays within financial parameters (ranging from £500K to £3.5M).

    - Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.

    - Schedule Management: Create and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion and tracking progress to meet deadlines.

    - Risk Management: Proactively identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate issues and prevent delays.

    - Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

    - Quality Control: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the specified quality standards and client expectations, including overseeing site surveys to confirm that joinery fits within spaces.

    - Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, such as contracts, schedules, status reports, and other relevant materials.

    - Problem Solving: Address and resolve any challenges or obstacles that arise during the project to ensure successful project delivery.

    - Performance Tracking: Track project performance and adjust as necessary to achieve project goals and deliverables.

    Key Attributes:

    - Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in yacht and/or high-end residential projects.

    - At least 5 years of experience in joinery or carpentry as a supervisor or manager.

    - Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD/Inventor for project planning and design, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    - Strong organizational, leadership, and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

    - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

    - Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently.

    - A relevant Project Management qualification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is preferred but not essential.

    Desirable Skills:

    - Experience in fine furniture, bespoke joinery, or super yacht projects.

    - Familiarity with specific software or tools related to joinery and carpentry project management.

  • Estimator

    Definition of Role:

    An Estimator working both independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team, will prepare and publish tenders and estimates for yacht and residential interior fit-out projects ranging from individual items to full turnkey solutions

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Take briefs from clients to identify project scope and materials.

    - Prepare sub-contract packages and source specialist pricing where necessary.

    - Attend mid-tender meetings both on-site and off-site to ensure clarity and accuracy.

    - Accurately price projects and create and publish tender documents.

    - Collaborate with the project team on live projects, controlling and preparing variations and additions as required.

    - Maintain and update the Enquiries Register, tracking progress and ensuring client satisfaction.

    - Contribute to the growth of new opportunities while ensuring existing client expectations are met.

    Key Attributes:

    - Proven experience in high-end joinery estimating.

    - Strong understanding of furniture and joinery construction methods and materials.

    - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design sketches.

    - Excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.

    - Strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
